Four checks before a unit price means anything
Power-system scope
State the requested motor and controller rating in W and V, battery chemistry and battery capacity in Ah or Wh. Confirm which charger is included. Treat all ratings and documents as supplier questions until they match the quoted configuration.
Quantity and packing
Separate pieces from complete sets and split quantities by frame size or finish. Compare assembly level, accessories, carton dimensions and pack ratio. An attractive unit price may exclude the charger or use different shipping preparation.
Evidence and acceptance
Request exact-item test evidence where applicable, with manufacturer, model and revision details. Record what the sample must demonstrate and who approves it. Neither a family brochure nor an unrelated sample establishes a production result.
Choose the buyer route
Different purchasing teams need different answers. Describe your channel and operating environment so the RFQ follows the intended use.
- Retail assortment: identify size allocation, display assembly and spare-component questions before agreeing to a mixed order.
- Fleet or project: state the rider group, duty pattern, storage and charging arrangements; ask for service and replacement-part scope.
- Product development: distinguish an existing-frame adaptation from a custom geometry request and flag tooling ownership and approval responsibilities.

A budget can be an amount or range with currency and a per-bicycle or whole-order basis. Premium, mid-range, budget or undecided expresses your preference rather than a verified supplier rating. MOQ, sample charges, production assumptions, freight and exclusions remain subject to supplier confirmation.
